try to keep a food/poo diary. see if it might be IBS caused by anxiety or stress. (i had to do this with my pup).

i kept it for 3months. I found that he cannot have any treats (even homemade) and that if I walk him at least 1-2 times a day, he doesn't have as many 'accidents.'

if i know that i am going to be leaving him in the care of a friend, i make sure i have some anti-D pills on hand and give them to him starting the evening before. I also leave them out for the person just in case. (i find that even tho it says 2x a day, one is generally enough).

we feed them Purina One Sensitive Stomachs (small bits). (lab and yorkie) i know it's not really expensive food compared to what some people spend, but it doesn't give them gas and the first ingredient isn't corn. also, it helps keep them from doing the eat each others food dominance game.
