I also live in a apartment and 3 years ago asked my landlady who said "NO"
Well, that kinda pissed me off since about 4 of the tenants have multiple cats. I let that Yorkie slip past me and when I was asked again if I wanted a Yorkie I said "Absolutely." She still doesn't know and I am actually looking for a new place now. I would just as soon find one before she asks me to leave. I've had him for 8 months and wouldn't trade him for anything.
