We just get special bags from our trash service and we do not have to keep it all seperate, but of course, we keep all the paper seperate from all the other items. This makes it easy and I think they started it because of just that reason...if it is handy and easy...more people will do it. The lady I spoke w/ said that all the "green" bags go to a different facility and I take it there are workers there that sort it. --we do not even have to take labels off of jars, etc... you know, some centers will only accept things that are cleaned and all paper off, etc.
