Speaking of Bobcats~just this summer the police shot and killed a cougar inside the city of Chicago. Their had been spotting of a large cat for a few weeks and it was all over the news since they are not indigenous to Chicago IL!!!! They did testing and found out it migrated from Montana I think.
I think they might be looking for food and that is why I have been hearing them recently. I was just talking to my neighbor and she said she saw one inside our neighborhood last week. She didn't realize they could jump a fence but I know they are totally capable of this without a problem.
