Last night about 9:30 Pebbles almost went through the screen door after something or someone! She was going so crazy that my husband went out to check but didn't find anything.

I'm not sure what the heck is going on around my house but for about the last week I've been hearing coyotes in the not so far off distance. They are calling back and forth to each other. We do NOT live in the country but a very heavily populated (60,000+ people) suburb of Chicago. We have lived in the same house for 17 years and when we first moved here it was mostly farm land but in the last 8 to 10 years most of that is now gone and the coyotes are still here. When we had our Lab the coyotes did not bother me as much as it does now. She scares me since she is fearless and wouldn't have enough sense to stay away from the danger!

I'm just a little freaked out that what she was going crazy was possibly a coyote in our front yard! She had me up ALL NIGHT long whining and pacing around. We even put her into her crate and that didn't settle her down.

I'm not looking for an answer since I know there isn't one except to keep her in the house. UGH I need a nap!
