I did not know that Wellness was made at Menu Foods in Canada. It was never in a recall that I ever saw but I still feel uneasy about them. I have a left over can of Wellness and the Senior say NOT LESS than 3% fat. Of course with the senior you are looking for less fat but with not senior you would not want alot but do need more. I never opened a can with what you are speaking of in your posts and like others have said it may not be fat.
