Default Why is it OK?

To call large Yorkies "Teapots" and not call the tiny one "Teacups"? Isn't this a double standard?
I know a lot of people don't like the fact that breeders use the term Teacup to market their puppies. I know you don't like that they sell them for more but really? Isn't that what the market bears? No one would Pay $2000 for a Teapot but a teacup they would buy in a minute. Now from my research a large yorkie could sell anywhere from $300 to $1000 but a Tiny Yorkie could go for $1000 on up. I mean, really, a tiny Yorkie is much harder and costly to raise so whats wrong with selling them for more if they are healthy? A large Yorkie could be weaned at 5 or 6 weeks but a tiny Yorkie may not be weaned until 10 to 12 weeks old. A lot more time, energy and money goes into raising a tiny puppy so isn't it justified to sell them for more money?

Back to the topic...Teapot vs Teacup. Isn't this a double standard to call the large ones teapots and not call the tiny ones teacups. Just brought this up for conversation and not to argue. No need to point out the obvious reasons that have already been stated.
