I definitely know how you feel!! As we are all aware, yorkie's are NOT fun to potty train!! I literally thought I was gonna lose my mind (sounds like you feel that way too). I thought Lola would never be potty trained and I would be cleaning up her messes her entire life!! Don't worry!! That doesn't happen! Just be patient. They do get trained. It just takes way longer than other dogs. Until Lola was about 9 months - 1 year, she was having accidents all the time.

I actually had to put down a bunch of wee wee pads on all the places she tended to go. She basically had a little bathroom area. If I saw her go on the pad I would praise her like crazy! Unfortunately if they miss, you just have to clean up the mess and move on with your life. That part is hard and very frustrating. Eventually though Lola rarely missed the pads.

If you're patient, when your puppy is a bit older, they are able to hold it better. I have recently installed a doggy door which has been extremely successful, but Lola is 1.5 yrs old and can hold it through the night. I take her out right before bed, and first thing in the morning. They start getting into the routine. Patience is the key. I know it's tough, but just keep at it!! It's hard and frustrating but I promise she will do better as she gets older.
