Default My Roxy is home!!

We just got Roxy home. Thank you so very much for the prayers - I know they made a difference. My son was able to take a day off and go with me - after we dropped Roxy off, he commented that he was surprised at how well I was doing. I was surprised too. God was definitely giving us peace today.

Roxy's surgeon was absolutely wonderful. He has been a vet for 30 years. He said he does about 6 of these a day. He is able to get in and get the job done so the time the patient spends under anesthesia is minimal.

Even though in the long run Roxy will be feeling much better, to say she is pretty miserable today is an understatement. She screams when she moves and looks so scared. She has morphine that we can give her twice a day, starting tonight. We let her eat about 10 pieces of her dog food, and she had no trouble with it, so when she wakes from her nap, we will let her eat a little more.

Thanks again for your prayers and support - it truly made a difference!
