This I know....I have been both used and abused in past attempts to help folks. Some endeavors were a lot more expensive that others. The last one cost me thousands. Eveb so, I am not a foolish person. I do know the dangers that exist. However, I hope that this heart of mine never becomes too bitter to be willing to help someone who so obviously needs it. No. I have no interest in 'digginup bones'. I have made my own decision and this is nothing that will affect anyone but me. I actually do not desire to be swayed in another direction. I pray for direction and then go. It's the way I live my life. There are bound to be pitfalls here and there. I do not believe this to be one, but if it is....what are the chances that I could gain much more than I have lost? Tremendous in my opinion. |
That is a very positive and noble outlook to have.
If you feel in life that you make decisions that YOU are happy with, then isn't that all that matters? But can you assure that everyone always has the same information that you do? No. I don't think that by being wary of issues we face in life, that makes us bitter and I don't think that it makes anyone foolish or uncaring or concerned. It just makes us cautious.
