Animal Smiley 019 New here and in need for help. Please!

Hi,

my name is Mona and I have a 13 weeks old Yorkie. He is my families bundle of joy My husband and I picked him up from the airport on Saturday . A couple of hrs later we noticed he was coughing some white slimy liquid (like humans do when they have a flu) and breathing heavily. I got extremely worried and on Monday we took him to the vet. Doc said he has laryngitis and prescribed for him medication. We give him the medication as directed. I hope it works, last night and this morning he still coughed and cried a little bit. My baby has a follow up with the vet in two weeks and I just want to know until then how can I comfort him? What can I do to help him more?

Any advice is highly appreciated. Thank you for reading!
