My little 9lb boy has a habit of jumping up on kids, people, other dogs, etc. The other day he jumped up and scratched (minor) a lady on our walk before I could get him under control. If he were a large dog I would use the knee to gently break this habit. Anyone with experience in changing this behavior?
He is a year and a half old and otherwise perfect. He does settle down after a minute or 2 but in the meantime............
