AI could be done. I would have her checked to make sure she doesn't have a stricture, in case she does get pregnant you want to be aware of wether she can have the pups naturally or would need a CSection due to the stricture..

I just called my vet to ask this very question. I knew I had not specifically said please check for a stricture but I did bring her in several months ago specifically and only to have an complete exam to make sure she was physically a good prospect for breeding from a vets point of view. The vet called back and unfortunately left me a message saying that a digital exam is not possible in a yorkie and I would have to do a vaginoscopy. So know I'm worried about that as well. I will say that she does not appear to be in any pain and does not balk at all from the stud and did not appear in any pain the one time they did tie. Do you think I should still be concerned about a tie and should I go ahead and have a vaginoscopy regardless? Does everyone do this routinely? I thought I had a pretty complete list of what testing I should have had done but I guess I still have a lot to learn. (Not that I didn't know that, just didn't expect this) Thanks for any feedback!
