I have no idea what could have happened to your guy but wanted to
just wish him well. I hope he continues to come around. It's always
so darn scay putting them under especially at his age.
There are drops you can put in their water daily that are suppose to
help with the tartar. I know cool and clear are one brand but I just
purchased another brand from Petco. With his age I would try something
like this to prevent him from every having this done again.
