Please don't listen to ignorant people.
It seems to me that you have prepared yourself if you might have a medical issue with your new puppy and will cross that bridge if need be. If you have a behavioral issue you can cross that bridge as well. Don't look for problems where you do not have any.
Please post lots of pictures when you can!
