In looking online the closest vet school to NY is one in Pennsylvania. I just called them and they said they are not low costing that they are the same as any vet hospital. They also would not give an estimate over the phone.
I don't know why they wont do this. I thought it would be easier if I shopped around but that seems impossible to do if no one will answer you unless you bring your dog in.
