I'm not a fan of the Eukanuba/Iams line - both for their careless history of their cruelty in animal testing and for their careless marketing of what is really a poor quality food.
All you really have to do is learn what ingredients make up a species appropriate diet for a canine - and it won't take you long to see that Iams is really not appropriate in any way. It's that simple, at the end of the day:
1) Learn about the canine/carnivore diet
2) Learn about ingredients
3) Research what ingredients are in which foods
