From what I've learned, there's no easy solution. Unfortunately, that severe level of attachment is one of the potential consequences of letting a dog sleep with you at night. She probably felt abandoned. I'm sure your dog will be back to normal once it gets used to having you back again, but it will probably happen again if you leave her for a few days. She'll cope better if you give her a place to sleep other than your bed. In the short term, she'll feel pretty lonely, but she'll eventually be able to spend time better while you're away. You just need to condition her to fend for herself while she's alone.
