Oh, good! I was hoping my explanation was making sense. It ends up looking like how they do the showdog topknots (once you get the hang of it, of course) with the "loop" above the bow instead of a "ponytail". No matter where I put that band... forward, further back, doesn't matter... the long tail still flops down forward over her eyes. I think Tatum's hair is a little thinner up there so we don't have a real luxurious topknot. It's gotten worse since we've gotten Stormie (the Australian Shepherd puppy) because they play so hard and Stormie gets ahold of Tatum's hair - usually by accident - it gets tangled in her teeth. But I think we've had some breakage around the topknot because of it so we are kinda taking a rest from pulling it up too often.
