I have a friend who said the process involved getting in a hot tub of water and I guess laser beams burst the stone in tiny pieces; she was able to return to work the same day. Surgery is much more difficult and since both kidneys are involved it would be quite complex. Perhaps you could find a veterinary hospital that has one of the machines, didn't your vet offer any suggestions?
