Some yorkies have skin problems. Some don't. Neither of mine ever did, except in the summer Muffin had grass allergies. Anyway, I've always used Pantene shampoo with conditioner and then after I rinsed that out I used Suave conditioner and then rinsed that really well and it makes their coat really nice. You can tell if it bothers your little one, because they'll scratch, but I've never had a problem and I've used it for what seems forever.
I forgot, but I always use baby shampoo on the faces.
