Sometimes it takes some searching to find which vet fits you and your pet the best. I went through three before I found my current vets! This vet you've been going to sounds awful. If they won't let you come back to the exam room with your baby it's definitely time to find a new one. This kind of thing ususally happens when the main vet dr. stops spending as much time in their clinic. Same thing happened to my mom with her cats and dog. They doctor was getting older and working less and the whole clinic just went to poo. Even if it means driving a little further than you would like to, it's important to find a vet that both you AND your little one are comfortable with. I look at it this way...a good vet is JUST as important to me as a good gyno. You wouldn't sacrifice comfort level there would you? Good luck on your search and keep us updated!
