I'm really sorry you have to find them new homes. It must be so hard for you. I just want to share with you that my little Sammy came to me when she was 10 months old from a former YT'er who like yourself, had the courage to give her up. We love her so much and she is a perfect addition to our family. We've adjusted to her little quirks (and cuteness!) as she has pretty much taken over around here. I even think Sam looks a bit like your Gypsy. I just wanted to give you a little encouragement. I hope you find them wonderful homes.
I do want to encourage you to require that your girls be spayed. Sammy was in heat when we got her, so we had to wait two months but she was spayed as soon as our vet would allow her to be, as part of our agreement with her original owner. We were not at all offended that she asked and we would have done it anyway. Please just think about it.
