LAst time i got a new blanket and didnt wash it......They both broke out in hives terribly. Most fabric is chemically treated and ya just neevr know with what....femeldahyde (im sure i spelled that wrong) Is a very common treatment for fabric as a preservative
So i wash everything now before i use it.
