 Transition from pads to outside potty
Hi All!
I am new to the forum and am very excited to hear from you - many of you sound very knowledgable. I have one issue with Louie that I would like to work on perfecting soon. He uses the potty pads pretty well (sometimes he misses the pad, but gets close)! But, he doesn't like to go outside. Sometimes when he first wakes up, I will take him out right away and he might go after a long while, but he mostly goes on the cement and not the grass.
I would really like him to go outside and use the potty pads only when we are at work. We have already associated the word "potty" when he goes on the pads, so he should know the word... Any advice would be greatly appreciated! |
