if it is real fighting, they are likely trying to figure out who is top dog. the best way is for you to become alpha and enforce your will on them to stop them from fighting. you need to remain calm when dealing with their fighting, if you are nervous or afraid you fuel the fight. if you are yelling and screaming, you fuel the fight. a simple word (i use enough) and step inbetween them and seperate if you must.
you can do many things to establish your dominance and position at the top. making them sit before feeding, and waiting. taking their food away mid meal and giving it back, taking toys from them when they are playing with them and then giving them back. and many many more things you can do.
once you establish yourself as their leader, their infighting will lesson, and eventually they will happily coexist beneath you. |
