It's true, after one of my surgeries I didn't go for like 7 days... TMI but give the little guy a hug because I know how he feels. That anesthesia will really slow his system down, plus he is still on meds and who knows how that is affecting it. The pumpkin is a good thing to give him. My Sammy had her surgery on a Thursday and I think she finally pooped Sunday or Monday. She had bandages on so she had to figure out HOW to go, it was awkward and I had to help but once she finally had to go she figured it out.
I'm surprised they didn't bandage his legs. Sammy was much happier with the casts on than when they came off. It gave her more stability and she was able to walk around on them. Once they came off it took her a good week to regain her strength, but by then the pain had decreased a little bit.
The first 3 pics are a few days after surgery. Then the last one is after the bandages came off. She was much happier before the bandages came off.
