I'm with you on this. My girls were never left alone till I started working full time again after my husband died...it's been 9 months and every single day I feel bad leaving them - Cheri used to scream when I left.... but now they just get into their little places when I leave and pout.
I hope he's ok and the only suggestion I have is maybe set up a little camera if you can ....and you can spy on him during the day ?? If he just sleeps you'll feel better
