Jack had the same problem. One day during dinner a hush puppy fell off the table and he ate it before I could snatch it away. Then he had diarrhea..he also had blood in his stool. I had to take him to the vet and they gave him an antibiotic shot. He also had to take meds twice a day for a week. I make he doesn't get table scraps anymore to avoid that problem.
