This is what I said in the email. Oh my god!!! I am so nervous!!! I hope I get a good response. My lease is until end of next August. So .. it is kinda tough.. but.. if I cannot have a dog here, I think I can consider moving..
"The other thing is about pet. On the lease it says, "Lessee shall keep no domestic or other animals on or about the leased premises without the written consent of Lessor." I am thinking about getting a yorkshire terrier in the future and wanted to see if you would allow me to keep a yorkie at the apartment. I am not considering any other dogs or pets other than a yorkshire terrier, and I am planning to take time to do more research on yorkie and carefully choose the dog if I get a permission from you. I remember that you have a lovely yorkie yourself, and I also would like to hear your experience with your dog too. I don't have any family in US and sometimes get very lonely, and I would love a companion. So please let me know."
