This is normal for many yorkies. Both of mine had to have most of their baby teeth removed (between 13-15 teeth each). It is very important to talk with your vet and have the baby teeth removed before they become a health concern. Both of mine got their baby teeth removed while under anesthesia for their neuter, between 8 months and 1 year old.

-If the teeth aren't removed, dangerous bacteria can accumulate in the mouth and even become deadly. Yorkies dental care is very important, so I would recommend having your vet come up with a dental care plan. My two yorkies get yearly teeth cleanings, because they accumulate tartar very quickly. If they aren't cleaned, they can lose their teeth and become very sick. But every dog is different and accumulates tartar buildup at different rates. Preventative care is also very important, ie brushing their teeth at home and providing the right dental chews.

Good Luck and Welcome to Yorkie Talk!!
