Hi all:
I bathe my furkids in the kitchen sink and was really getting concerned why they got so tensed up more and more when I bathed them. I was really starting to worry that they had a phobia from a previous experience (maybe with an inexperienced groomer). Well I finally thought about buying a rubber mat for the sink(the sink is stainless steel) and guess what
!!!! It worked. This is the first time I bathed Pucci in the sink that he didn't shake like he was just terified.
I gave him a tiny treat when I put him in the sink to give him something else to think about but the only time he seemed to tremble an intsy bit was when we were just about finished. It must have taken me all of 15 minutes to cleans his ears, shampoo, rinse and towel dry him. Then I gave him a light blow dry to get the excess water off him and he was on to the bed to do his after bath Yorkie dance, lol.
So gald it worked
