We use a rubber hose sprayer that I found at the hardware store, and bathe in the laundry room sink because it is deeper and they can't jump out when they are small. Just hold the sprayer close on their body starting at the neck and working down until all wet but the head. Then pin the ears down with one hand and hold the sprayer on the top of the head. Most dogs will automatically be looking up at you and the water won't run into their eyes or nose. If any water runs in the eyes, use you hand to immediately sweep the water back across the head. Then add shampoo to body, massaging gently so it feels good to the puppy. Just put a tiny bit of shampoo on fingers and run across the top of head and under chin. Then repeat procedure for rinse.

Some of my dogs were initially scared and a little aggressive during first baths, but now all behave properly, with no aggression.

Good luck.
