I now have heard that most of these at home computer jobs are now being out-sourced like most of the other well paying jobs that have medical insurance. Even Kim Komando (computer talk radio show) said breifly on her show that these jobs will probably be gone in the next 5 years. I personally think that out-sourcing sould be illegal.
I know of a few people who have done the transcriptionist work...when I called about it, you had to take classes at a local university....I think in my area, it was for 5 months (I think) and it was at night....you had to pay for these classes too....I can't remember, but I believe it was between $2500-5000 just for the classes and then your name was given to area places (which I thought you would come out of these classes w/ a "job") - so I didn't know if it was a gamble to spend that kind of many and NOT be guaranteed a job.
I also heard that most jobs like this were being out-sourced....
