Riley was neutered about six weeks ago. He did fine, but stayed at the vet's for two days because I was having surgery at the same time on the same day! (How's that for togetherness with your dog?)
The vet said I should keep him from running or jumping for about a week so he wouldn't tear his stitches. Obviously my vet has never had a young Yorkie! Since I was mostly sleeping, recovering from my surgery, he had no choice but to do the same.
He absolutely loves those twisted chewies called Flossies, and they kept him quiet and entertained until we were both well enough to resume our walks and games of fetch. |
