Little Man does that when we go to bed at night before hubby gets home. He will go to the end of the bed and I mean every little hair on his body stands up. He will growl (not the playful growl either) and he will bark and he won't move at all. I'll get up and go look and he follows growling and barking. When we get back to the bedroom, he literally gets in my lap (if I'm sitting up) or he will sit right in front of me (if I am laying down) and growl. It's like he's protecting from something or someone. It's kinda freaky! I also believe in the paranormal stuff. |
Deegan does the exact same thing! I believe in ghosts and stuff, but when it happens I try not to think about it - turn on some lights and tv and fall asleep like that. My boyfriend works midnights and I get scared... especially cause I've had someone in my family die every year for past four years. My uncle, my grandma, my cousin & then my mom. And even though my mom and I made a pact that if she could come see me after she passed, that she should - but it's a little scary. It generally always happens at night...and I freak out! But then there are some times that Deegan will start to bark and growl playfully at nothing at all and look in a certain direction as if he sees someone/something. That scares me!! I wonder if it's a spirit or what???
