wow that's unbelievable. It sounds like she may have been trying to get the dog as a birthday present then (if she was actually throwing a b-day party) which is generally not a good reason to buy a pet... I just can't believe someone would have the gull to actually act like that with a perfect stranger, over a puppy that wasn't rightfully theirs to begin with. Amazing..
