Also, try to do all of this when you are home alone without any distractions ie the kids. If the kids are running around and playing it will add to the stress of the bath.
It is almost 1 year since we brought Pebbles home and I have learned so much in that time. I really want to do the very best for my babies so I have read ALOT and hung out here for over 1 year before my first post.

Treats yes, I forgot about this, and don't use them now, except after the whole process is over, but in the beginning, they really help. At least 10 cheerios to get through blow drying.
A tip on the towels, for mine, it's about a minute in the microwave, and make sure towel is absolutely dry when you put it in, no wet spots, as these would get too hot.
