Today I was at Harvard Square taking a walk with Haruka... my bf wanted to go to a clothing store. So Haruka sat still by the door, and I was standing there. All the sudden, there was a puppy that looks like a fox and at least 5 times bigger than Haruka came close to us from the left of us. I grabbed the leash to make it short.. and this owner pulled his dog away. Before we know it, this dog grabbed Haruka and jumped started sharing her as he might do that to his toy. I guess I screamed (I was told afterwords...how loud I was) I was freaking out. I rescued her from the dog. Then the family (the owner... a guy, a woman, and a child) started walking away. I was very upset and I told them to stop!!! A woman and a child left the scene, and I kept asking the guy to stop until they stopped. There were many people then. People at store.. I guess they heard my beautiful scream.. so my bf came out too. I asked him to take his name and phone number. The guy said that the dog was vaccinated... I asked my bf to take care of it.. and I guess he took his phone number but didn't ask for his ID (which I asked!!!!) I went to pad the dog to calm him down because I felt that it wasn't his fault but it was the owner's fault. Then he said "do you want to take a chance? you shouldn't risk it..." and he said "your dog seems to be fine.." So I told him that "I don't take a risk letting you go just like that." Then my tears blasted after the guy left. Everyone was looking. I cried so hard... in the middle of the popular area....

Haruka seems like nothing happened.... she started walking with her tail up and trying to meet different dogs... I was so glad...

I never really get mad about dogs' bad behaviors... This is actually second time she got jumped by dogs. First time was at yorkie meet-up. I don't really blame the dogs.... I actually feel bad for the dogs of having aggressive behaviors. I also wouldn't feel bad if the owners apologized. Both times owners pretended like nothing was their fault. I hate that. I would have felt differently if this guy came to me and apologized and gave me his card or something... That is something I would have done to others... I was traumatized than Haruka was. She is happy as always... She seemed to be satisfied with the walk.

When this dog grabbed her and jumped and started shaking her.. I really felt that she would be badly injured or die... it was like watching an Animal Planet... It was so cruel. I also asked my bf not to watch the animal planet about wild animal any more. I sometimes grab Haruka by her top of the neck.. like a cat since she is really tiny... So I think she didn't get freaked out at all... Haruka seemed to be more worried about me.

Haruka and I are definitely adventurous but we are very careful about walking around the city. Today was just so crazy.
