You know I thought about ticks and I asked my daughter to check him while she was at the emergency vet.....but nothing. I also thought he might have been bit by a spider or something....
ANYWAY......GREAT NEWS....the bile acid test were negative so, althoug it doesn't completely rule out a liver shunt, he most likely does not have one which I am soooo relieved about. We have discontinued the meds which were expensive but it was a precaution we had to take until the tests came back.
They said to just watch him for a recurrence and hopefully it was a "one time incident" and he will be fine now.....
I just wish I knew what caused it but.....we may never know. I am home from Santa Barbara and my other babies missed me and Ava!!! I am so happy to be home....thanks again for all your support...you are just great!!!!
