You are not being whiney. A yorkie is not a short term commitment, they are a 10 to 18 year companion. I wouldn't go back to my breeder when looking for a pup for a number of reasons. Health and health testing is so important check refrences and vets, there is nothing wrong with wanting to know what your getting.
When I get my next baby, I will only buy from someone who is breeding for themselves, for thier next show dog. People are alot less likely to cheat themselves on quality. The right breeder will come along and I am sure that it will be worth the wait. Agian good luck!!!
