Wow, this is really interesting - thanks for sharing this. That's really odd about the vet who graded a 5. I have one who is a grade 2-ish, and I may take him to see an Ortho Surgeon to be graded as well. I think it's wonderful that you found this other vet, but....I almost think if it were me...I might even get a 3rd opinion, just because the 2 vets had *such* polar opinions, you know? It's just so odd. But, the vet IS right - there are much better supplements now - Cosequin being the best, in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing this bc you are absolutely right - 2nd opinions are so important, bc these surgeries are major for these babies.
