She will probably be just fine at your friend's house
If you want to take her, make sure that you get a pet friendly hotel so that your baby can stay at the hotel while you guys are at the reception. I would hate for your husband to have to miss the reception.

We always choose to take our furbabies with us when we can, but if we have to leave them with my mom, it's okay
because they love playing with her furbaby, and my mom loves my babies practically as much as we do!
