Hey guys! I had a
wonderful time at the beach. For the weekend I thought it was going to be pretty miserable, because I got this nasty cold and my best friend who was supposed to stay for the week had to go home because her cousin was in town and things were not going well - but then by monday everything was perfect. I had a
fantastic time.
My whole family comes down for the same week - so that's always fun. We spend time drifting between beach houses (the rest of them are in a different beach than we are).
On Thursday, I watched the sunrise over the ocean. I've never seen anything like it in my life. I was on the beach looking for seaglass (which I didn't find - but I found some nice shells) at about 6 in the morning. The tide coming in...the beach totally empty...and the gorgeous sunrise. It was like a painting. I was sooo wishing I had my camera with me, but I'd left it at my aunt's house the night before. It doesn't matter though, because a camera couldn't possibly have captured the beauty.
I got pinched by a crab yesterday for the first time in my life. I guess I stepped on it while I was in the water, and I felt it pinch me. It got kicked in the head and sent flying, and I touched the ground twice getting back to the beach.

Here we goo.. These were taken the first day. Jess (friend) and I went up to the beach, and there was this odd puddle deal going on. Like, the ocean was like 50 feet out, then there was a sandbar, then there was a deep puddle running along the beach. It was quite cool.
