How funny. Did the goat give you much trouble?

I have heard a lot of bad things about the Amish and dog breeding. You wouldn't think such God fearing people would treat their dogs so badly. We just moved out here to Missouri 6 1/2 years ago. It was a shock to find out that Missouri is considered a puppy mill state. I had not even heard that term before and I have become very familiar with it. I am being very careful of my reputation as a breeder because of where I live. I didn't plan on being a breeder again but when we got our first 3 Yorkies, things just kind of took on a life of their own. Then the bottom fell out of the prices and hasn't recovered yet. LOL That is the way things go when I get involved. I either get in on the tail of things or bring the bad luck. LOL I haven't figured out which it is yet. LOL

I truely believe things happen in their own time. You will find the right baby, keep looking. Sylvia

Yesterday i had my first encounter with amish breeders. We were going to look at bichon-poo's, males and females.. puppies. We got there and the house and ground were beautiful, the pup however was a mess and totally skittish. Oh yea, and clearly an adult not a pup. The boy that was with us told us he didn't remember when he was born, thought he was about 14/15 weeks old, and he was the only one they had... no females. I felt so sorry for that little doggie but we walked away. On a funny side note, there was a goat standing on the hood of our car that I had to move before we would live, a baby one
