I remember reading on YT about a member's yorkie being snatched or almost snatched by a hawk. And, just two days ago in the neighbors driveway, I watched a hawk swoop down and almost get a big squirrel. A tree in his way, prevented the hawk from making his catch and the squirrel dropped out of his talons.

Now a big squirrel is not much smaller than some of the 3lb yorkies I'm aware of here.....also, this wasn't a big hawk, it was a smaller variety than a redtail.
