There's a old joke about, "How can you tell if a lawyer is lying?" Answer, is you can see his lips moving. Sometime, I think they could just change the word from lawyer to breeder and we got a new joke. Seriously, so many breeders say this, and it's really important to check out a breeder and see the parents for yourself. There are many people who own larger than standard Yorkies, and some of the most striking Yorkies I've ever seen were larger than the standard of 7 pounds and below. One thing about larger Yorkies is their heads are bigger, and it's easier to see that cute face. You don't have to worry so much about them jumping off the furniture and getting injured, and they are better around children.
