OMG, I took my pup to the vet today and he said she weighs 4.5 pounds already and she is only 12 weeks. The vet said she is large for her age but not considered overweight. So if I go by the growth chart that will make her a 9 pound adult??? It may sound shallow but I am upset because I wanted a smaller yorkie and thats what I thought I was getting. Her parents were both under 5 pounds and she was the smallest of her litter. My breeder told me that she has NEVER had a pup grow up to be over 5 pounds and that was why I bought from her. I still love her the same but Im just really surprised.
