Self tanning has come so far since the horrific products from the 80's! I think there are over-the-counter creams, sprays and foams that give a really natural glow and don't cost as much as going to a salon. (Most bottles will last week to months, where a single spray tan at a salon only last about a week). My favorite cheaper product is the Neutrogena self-tanning foam. (It goes on a bronze color so you see exactly where and how much you are applying). If you want to go a little higher end, the Lancome and Clarins self-tanning lines are excellent!
