The spray I'm using is "Simple Solution - Potty Training Aid". I got it at PetSmart in the new puppy section.

I've only had Oscar for couple weeks and the training is going slowly, but surely. When I catch him in the act of "going" off his pad, I'll clap my hands loudly and tell him "NO" firmly. (Only scold them if you catch them in the process of going ... ) He has started associating going on the pad with a treat and going off with scolding, and has started jumping into his box without me putting him there. (I'm using a shallow litter box lined with the puppy pad).

I think what is key is not giving them the opportunity to have an accident. First thing in the morning, after eating, after playing, once every hour or so and right before bed put him on the pad and give him the opportunity to eliminate.

Are you crate training as well?
